Karen’s background is in family law but she has always had an interest in complementary therapies. Karen was introduced to Bowen Therapy by her GP when suffering migraines during her third pregnancy.
Her positive experiences with Bowen encouraged Karen to also qualify in Reflexology and Indian Head Massage in order to help both her own family and others.
Karen qualified as a Bowen Therapist with The Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia in June 2004 and belongs to The Bowen Association UK which is a member of the British Complementary Medicine Association and affiliated to the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia.
She also has the Advanced and Masters Bowen qualifications together with the Bowen for Mothers and Babies certificate and offers a pre- and post-natal package to maintain optimum health for both.
Her Reflexology and Indian Head Massage qualifications were gained in 2008 at the School of Holistic Studies whose certificates are recognised by the Complementary Medicine Association.
Continuing Professional Development is regularly undertaken.
